Tri-County Health Department has two Child Passenger Safety (CPS) technicians on staff that are available to conduct car seat safety checks and to assist in proper car seat installation.  We also provide rear and forward facing car seats, when available, starting at birth to medicaid recipients.   At this time we are not able to provide infant car seat carriers. 

 

The Carseat Safety program teaches parents how to safely install a carseat in their vehicle and how to fasten their child in it properly.
